Pronouns

Pronouns in Zhamor and on Azmorfa work differently than on other planets. Because colours and rainbows are important to the Azmorfans, pronouns are referred to as "colours". To ask someone their pronouns, say "Isla kirois cha?" (What colours are you/What colours do you use?).

Verbs

Forming verbs in Zhamor is similar to most languages out there, where it has a verb ending attached to the end of the infinitive form. All verb stems end in "no". Below is the conjugation.

Simply remove "no" from the stem version and add the ending, then pop the verb after a subject!

Questions

Forming questions in Zhamor is easy! Simply add "cha?" at the end of a sentence. You could also change the intonation to skip adding "cha" at the end.

Development

Zhamor was one of the first languages created for the Cinnaverse and was even used as its universal language like Galax is used now. It went through many names, Lagunian and Betanian.

The first version of Zhamor was created in April 2013. I distinctly remember planning out the language in my head on a walk home from school. The image says that it was created by the deities, but I think in my head, it was created by Azmorfa.

A few years later in 2017, I knew a bit more about creating writing systems and wanted to refine Zhamor. I designed Betanian, the language from Azmorfa and the language that was used all across the galaxies.

And in 2022 I gave Zhamor a fresh coat of paint. The universal language was now Galax, I gave Zhamor a new name, and I redesigned their alphabet to look less pointy and more round!
